We made rain in Room 2 today. We put some water in a bowl and heated it up just as the sun heats up the water in the lake. We put a plate with ice on it on top of the bowl to represent the very cold clouds. We waited for a few minutes and watched. Very soon the warm steam rose up and hit the cold cloud and condensed into rain drops of liquid water. We saw some drop back into the "lake" below.
Wow! That looks exciting Room 2. We loved your experiment and have a couple of questions for you. Kaydie from Room 3 at Merivale would like to know how long it took for the rain to fall and Ioapo would like to know how long it took to make it. We are thinking of doing that experiment ourselves so that we can make rain too. Thank you for sharing Room 2. We look forward to seeing more of your learning :)
