Reading:
The best home learning your child can do is READ!
Students will be given books to take home Monday - Thursdays. On Friday they will take home a poem in their poetry books.
Remember that when you read with them, to ask them to tell you what they think the story is about.
It is also really important to read to your child, if you are reading a chapter book to them, ask them to retell the section you have read, and then ask them what they think will happen next.
